“But first, mascara”
I want to start off by saying, I do NOT wear a lot of makeup. In fact, I’m quite a minimalist when it comes to makeup. A little concealer to cover the “mom bags” under my eyes and some mascara and I’m good to go! And if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 100 times; Mascara is magic! If I were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring 3 things, mascara would definitely be 1 of the 3! It can take this girl from zombie to human in approximately 45 seconds. But as most of you know, not every product works the way it’s advertised. Let me tell you about a brand that is everything it’s supposed to be, and so much more!
Essence Lash Princess- False Lash Effect
I have had fine, short lashed my entire life “She get it from her mama!”
No matter how much I curled them or how much mascara I lathered on, there was never much of a difference. There was no lengthening or thickening going on. Until that magical day, when I stumbled across an article titled “Amazon shopper’s favorite products under $20” or something like that. I saw the mascara for $4.99, read some reviews and thought I’d give it a try.

Depending on the day or event, I will apply a 2nd coat, just for a more dramatic effect!

“My lashes are nearly invisible without mascara. I’ve tried so many mascaras. Even high end ones left me disappointed. Saw a youtuber rave about this one and BOOM, I’m in love! Recently, loreal came out with a new one (rose-pink packaging; can’t recall name ) that everyone was raving about. Curiosity got me and I dropped $10 to see if it could beat princess… nope. Close, but no. Oh, and I do cheat with define-a-lash (mabeline?) to comb out lashes before & after princess, but I do that with any mascara because mine are so puny.”
