As I was choosing my outfit for the day, I came across this shirt from always enough shop and was instantly drawn to it. I flipped through the rest of my T-shirts and just kept coming back to this one.

It’s the day after the election and while I am anxious to find out who will be President for the next 4 years, I can’t imagine what some of my fellow Americans are feeling.
This year has been an absolute dumpster fire🔥 for EVERYONE. But, I think it’s extremely fair to say that it’s been so much harder for some of us. I’ll admit, I complained, A LOT when I was homeschooling my children. Hell, I’m still biting my nails wondering if the schools will get shutdown again. My anxiety and depression were at an all time high and I felt like an inadequate mother and wife. And while I know my mental health is important, my family and I have been very lucky.
I haven’t lost a family member to this stupid virus. I haven’t been directly involved with racial discrimination. I have clean water. My husband and I can pay our bills. We still have jobs.

Whatever happens in the coming days with the 2020 election, I want to publicly make a few promises, to keep myself in check.
I vow to show compassion to my fellow Americans. I vow to support my community in any way I can. I vow to speak up when I witness discrimination. And I vow to embrace everyone with love, even when they think differently than me. If you are stressed, overwhelmed and frankly, nervous, please know that I love you and I promise to stand with you to make this world a better place.
